Time Line Therapy™ is a series of simple techniques which allow you to release unhelpful negative emotions from your past and to form new more helpful ways to think and be, which will help you to create the future you desire. The results are dramatic because they allow you clear out your ‘emotional cupboard’ and get control of your life. Such emotional blockages are responsible for preventing you from achieving the quality of life you desire and deserve.
TLT™ was conceived by Tad James, a student of Richard Bandler, in 1985. It is a non invasive therapeutic intervention which goes to the root of problems without dwelling on the detail, in other words you can get rid of the negative emotions associated with past events without having to relive those events. This is one of the most important differences between TLT and other types of therapy such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, traditional counselling and regression therapy, along with the speed with which the changes are made.
Hypnosis
Hypnosis is a highly effective and much misrepresented technique which induces profound relaxation to allow changes to be made at the deepest and most unconscious level. You remain in control at all times, following simple instructions given to you by your therapist. If you can day dream, you can enter a hypnotic state. The important thing to remember is that all hypnosis is self hypnosis. It is not about someone else taking control of your mind, rather you taking control of your own unconscious mind and guiding it to serve you better. At the end of a session of hypnosis you will feel wonderfully refreshed and at ease.
